Secret to Not Becoming Reactive When Your Partner Is Reactive

· Vlog

In this month's vlog, we discuss how challenging it can be to not get reactive in response to your partner's reactivity. We also look at what can be helpful, if not at the moment, at least afterward, for helping to repair goodwill and trust. This can be extremely challenging, but progress is what matters, not perfection.

We use the example of a painful interaction Angus, and I had recently after I returned home from the UK after attending my Father's funeral. It took me off guard and shook me. It was a powerful reminder that upset and hurt feelings can arise no matter how healthy your relationship is.

We encourage you to be gentle with yourself when you feel hurt and to remember you will return to love, peace, and well-being. And from that state of mind, you will find clarity regarding navigating difficulties in your relationship. Enjoy the vlog! And please leave any reflections you have or comments below.

If you would like to listen to the Rewilding Love Podcast, it comes out in a serial format. Start with Episode 1 for context. Click here to listen. And, if you would like to dive deeper into the understanding I share along with additional support please check out the Rewilders Community.
