Pleasure Isn’t Limited to Sexuality

July 23, 2021

Pleasure is a natural byproduct of presence. When we are present in the moment, we are open to sensory experiences and can feel the aliveness of that. This is pleasurable. Unfortunately, pleasure gets a bad rap in our society and is often marginalized to the realm of sexuality. This prejudice played out between Angus and me.

In this vlog, Angus acknowledges feeling guilty that when he first heard about the free course I am running called Rewilding Feminine Pleasure, he immediately assumed it was just about sexual pleasure. However, after our conversation, that involved me feeling hurt and taking things personally, he now sees the fullness of what I mean by pleasure.

The course is not just about feminine pleasure during sex but it is also about enhancing the experience of pleasure in life generally, and recognizing that pleasure helps to point us back to our true nature. Pleasure is a birthright we all have access to.  If you are interested, the course will provide a safe space for feminine-identifying people to explore pleasure in their life and how to awaken to it more fully.

Angus & Rohini Ross are “The Rewilders.” Listen to their podcast Rewilding Love. They believe too many good relationships fall apart because couples give up thinking their relationship problems can’t be solved. Many couples don’t know how to navigate low moods, conflict, and emotional reactivity. In this season of the Rewilding Love Podcast, Rohini and Angus help a couple on the brink of divorce due to conflict. Angus and Rohini love working with couples and helping them to reduce conflict and discord in their relationships by pointing them to their innate wisdom and wellbeing. They work with couples who are struggling and couples who would like to deepen the love and intimacy they already have. They co-facilitate private couples' intensives that rewild relationships back to their natural state of love.

Rohini is the author of the ebook Marriage, and they are co-founders of The 29-Day Rewilding Experience and The Rewilding Community.
